Our market last Saturday (May 25th) was a windy, sunny one. If you've ever been a vendor you know that wind can be worse than rain, but everyone made it through (mostly) unscathed. Since it was a holiday weekend it wasn't as busy as our first market, but there was still a good crowd of people! Of course we had another large number of amazing vendors to shop from, at least 20. Sheriff Dean Kruger set up an info booth. Sammi handed out take a home craft to the first 20 kids and bubbles for every kid.
Later on Ariel from Philthy Phillys came and handed out samples to everyone! If you haven't had Philthy Phillys yet you're missing out. They have chicken or steak phillys, salads, and probably the best fries I've ever had! They're just a couple storefronts West of the plaza we have our market at.
I wasn't actually able to be there, so I'm somewhat writing blind. Usually I'll go through and label every vendor in order based on their position, but since I wasn't the one to take photos and there were some last minute set ups I won't be doing that today. I'm going to let the photos speak for themselves. I know for sure not pictured is the Three Rivers Kringla table or the kids craft that was handed out. However, I do have an example of what the craft will look like once completed shown below.
Thank you to everyone who comes downtown to support our Humboldt Farmer's Market! It's been amazing to watch it explode since our first market in 2023. Below is what you missed from this past Saturday, May 25th.
Our next Humboldt Farmer's Market is going to be a big one! We'll have the street blocked off!
Touch a Truck - Saturday, June 8th - 8am-12pm - located at the Parley Finch Plaza, 600 block Sumner Ave., Humboldt
Until then stay safe, be kind and we'll talk soon!
