It's getting better and better!

We had the most vendors yet! Not just the most vendors, but a beautiful array of products to choose from. Plus, we had better weather than we could have wished for on Saturday! It started off at a chilly 48° and ended 70°, maybe. IN JULY? Absolutely mindblowing! It felt like a beautiful fall morning. Perhaps Mother Nature felt bad for the previous market (see last blog for more details) and wanted to make up for it.

The Humboldt Dog Park Committee were set up with toys, pupcakes and other treats for sale! They're working hard on making a dog park happen in Humboldt called "Three Rivers Tails". For a kid activity we had their dog park logo to color! It was so much fun to see people bringing their pets with them. I'd say just dogs but we had some cats stroll by too! Don't worry I got a photo of the kitty stroller below! You can follow the Humboldt Dog Park journey on Facebook right here.

I always try to catch vendors right as the market starts to get photos with their tables full! Good thing I did that this week because multiple vendors sold out! It's always a goal for any vendor at any event, but to do that at our small farmer's market is next level. That would not be possible without the community coming out and supporting our vendors. Thank you so much for doing so! It means the world to all of our small businesses. Without our community we wouldn't have a farmer's market! As the title of this blog states, it's getting better and better! Every market I see new faces show up to see whats going on.

New this market were signs! I made and hand painted two sandwich board signs to hopefully catch some people who haven't heard the market is back downtown every 2nd & 4th Satuday!

For the next market (July 22nd, Arts Fest at the Humboldt Farmer's Market) I'll have more signs ready to set out and direct people towards the market!

I took a lot of photos this week! It was a beautiful and somehow relaxing day even with how busy it was. I'm having a hard time finding more words than what I've already said. We're all so thankful for the vendors and patrons who come to support all of this crazy awesomeness. The Humboldt Farmer's Market is all about connecting people in the community with vendors that are both local and from neighboring communities!

• BEWARE OF SCAMMERS! We've seen a lot of scam comments on our Facebook page and event pages recently. Do not fall for any of them! Most of them say something along the lines of asking people to reach out to them to be a vendor. We always try to reply as the official Facebook page (Humboldt Farmer's Market), but if we don't, the only three people are Sammi Pals, Anna Gibson, and Kelsey Flot (me). We've been blocking and deleting comments as we see them. If you're ever in doubt email us through HumboldtFarmersMarket@gmail.com

We'll see you next market, July 22nd, for Arts Fest! It's going to be a great time with a lot going on!

Until then stay safe, be kind and we'll talk soon!
